Party Hard

and even that feels like a lot!

So yesterday was my bday BBQ (my actual bday isn’t until Fri), and I’d spent most of sat getting things ready for it (see this) then got up early for more prep pre guest arrival.  This meant that by the time people started arriving I was already pretty tired.  My amazing LilbroCubb helped out massively and I don’t know what we would have done without him, particularly as he did all of the cooking!

In a shock turn of events I was the one that suggested we move inside in the evening (I’m normally the one overheating, particularly if I drink alcohol and I’d had a couple of glasses of Sangria).  I knew something must be up but put it down to that.  I had a great time but was quite relieved when bedtime rolled around as I was exhausted.  I was up again early this morning to take LilbroCubb to the station and I’d barely gotten home and had lunch when just as I was about to take a nap PapaCubb asked me to go to Screwfix to pickup something he doesn’t need until next Sun but wanted instantly.  When I said I wasn’t feeling great he played the guilt trip card so I compromised by ordering it for collection and saying I’d collect it after a nap.

I woke up from that nap feeling even worse.  Dizzy and wobbly and kinda falling all over the place.  I probably shouldn’t have but went to collect his bits and then spent the rest of the day sleeping.  I really hope this isn’t the beginning of a flare and just what a hangover feels like these days :s
