So far the best disabled toilet I have seen is at the Lido Centre in West Ealing.
A number of features make it great.
- sliding door
- plenty of room
- adult changing bed
- lots of support rails
- mirror not seen whilst on toilet
However I still have a bug bear about low height sinks. In a wheelchair they’re great, but when I’m on sticks (which is most of the time), it can be quite uncomfortable to bend down so low to wash my hands.
I ask disabled bathroom designers to please consider making a dual height sink or simply installing two small sinks at different heights.
